![]() you could upgrade the Seamoth too? And those upgrades don't come at the cost of reducing the speed. and the seatruck with no modules is very similar to the seamoth, only more flexible, since it can be upgraded. If someone releases a mod to add the larger base parts to SN, there would be no substantial reason to play BZ If that is the case then those base parts I was so excited to try out have no purpose. With all of that out of the way, the game still has all of the potential of the first one and I truly hope things turn in that direction, but I am concerned to read comments stating that the game is very near completion and they are just wrapping things up. To be clear, the prawn suit was one of the worst vehicles ever featured in a video game and it should be removed and forgotten as soon as possible. I can only surmise that some or all of the dev team is under the impression that the prawn suit is good. ![]() There seems to be more of a requirement to use the prawn suit in this game, which is strange because the prawn suit was the worst part of SN. The seatruck has potential but it is an adequate replacement for neither of those vehicles. They removed the seamoth and cyclops, which were both awesome, and replaced them with the seatruck. So you either have to spend hours searching every square meter of the map or leave the game and go online to find out where to go. You can check in your pda to see what was said but, despite the fact that it implies you are being informed where you are supposed to go, you absolutely are not informed about any such thing. The storyline seems to be unfinished animations with no audio. The predatory creatures are more annoying than ever. The map is tiny, useful fragments are hard to find, while useless fragments are absurdly abundant. I'm 30 hours in and as far as I can tell so far, everything good about SN has been removed and everything I found slightly annoying in SN has been cranked up to 11. So now is that time and I find myself wondering what the hell happened. The arctic atmosphere was also very enticing.ĭespite my excitement, I decided to wait for a long time and allow development to run and try it once it was somewhat fleshed out. BZ added those larger rooms, so I was excited to play SN perfected. I really wanted larger rooms and more freedom in layout. My biggest complaint about that game is that it is lacking in the base building department. Remember to always bring your Repair Tool so that you can make repairs to your Seamoth, and an extra Power Cell with you in case it runs out of fuel in a remote location.I loved SN. The Seamoth is finally fabricated and ready to go. The Seamoth will be fabricated in midair and, once complete, will fall into the water below. In addition to the same 3 materials that were used to build the Mobile Vehicle Bay, the Seamoth itself also requires 2x Glass and 1x Lead. To deploy the Mobile Vehicle Bay, bind it to your hotbar and activate it while below the surface of the water – it will float to the surface and unpack.Ĭlimb up onto the Mobile Vehicle Bay and use the console to fabricate the Seamoth. In addition to the Titanium Ingot and Power Cell, the Mobile Vehicle Bay also requires 1x Lubricant, crafted from a Creepvine Seed Cluster. By now you probably have some old Batteries that are completely out of power… hopefully you haven’t been throwing them away because your old, discharged batteries can still be used to craft Power Cells – and the resulting Power Cells will be fully charged. In order to fabricate each Power Cell, you’re going to need to use 2x Batteries and 1x Silicone. Remember that the easiest way to get Titanium is by picking up Metal Salvage in shallow areas. Fabricate Titanium IngotsĮach Titanium Ingot requires 10x Titanium to fabricate. The Seamoth also needs all of these same ingredients (as well as a couple others,) so make 2 of each of these items. In order to fabricate the Mobile Vehicle Bay you will need 1x Titanium Ingot, 1x Lubricant, and 1x Power Cell. Some fragments may be harder to notice at first, either obscured by red grass or mingled in with piles of wreckage. Look for the distinctive blue and white stripes on the seamoth’s tail section. Seamoth fragments can be found in the Grassy Plateaus biome, though it may take some searching in order to find the 3 fragments needed. Make sure to check boxes whose opening is obscured by seaweed. Mobile Vehicle Bay fragments can usually be found in small storage crates sitting on the seabed in the Kelp Forest biome, not far from your Lifepod.
